With their tiny boats loaded with a variety of goods, vendors row to the market from the nearby small canals, some cooking food on their boats, ready to feed the crowds that flock to shop, eat, and absorb the vibrant atmosphere. An early morning start is recommended to catch Damnoen Saduak at its liveliest and, perhaps, to experience a long tail boat trip around the market and surrounding klongs (canals).
